Ultra
Swivel |
The Ultra swivel is a
uniquely fabricated anchor swivel, connecting the chain and
anchor without the need of locking pins or additional
shackles.
The breaking strength of the swivel is typically higher than
the chain connected and allows the chain to move 30 degree
in every direction. Recovery of the anchor is also an easier
and safer task due to this rotation and swivel.
Fabricated from 316 stainless steel, the swivel is slimline
and does not require any locking pins or safety wires. |

Details |
Tightening the
Allen Screw:
A standard common anchor
swivel may incorporate a set screw or similar. However with
the new generation Ultra Swivel, we have avoided the
following problems commonly associated with set screws;
-
The resistance of the
cross section to which the set screw is attached
decreases.
-
Often under load the set
screw becomes damaged and cannot be released.

Set screws corrode in
position after long periods due to small amounts of
corrosion from salt water
The Ultra Swivel has been
designed with this knowledge and incorporates a ‘stretch
spring’ screw, that once tightened expands to securely lock
the Ultra Swivel.
